These Terms govern your use of PhireAso — its website and Android app. Please read them before you use it.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By using PhireAso, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use it.
2. What PhireAso is, and what it is not
PhireAso is a free community platform for reporting missing persons and lost or found items, for alerting people nearby, and for connecting people who need blood with voluntary blood donors.
It is not a law-enforcement service, not an emergency helpline, not a hospital and not a blood bank, and not a substitute for contacting the police or a doctor. If someone is in immediate danger, call 999.
3. No account, and what that means for you
There is no login, so we cannot verify who posted something, and neither can anyone reading it. Treat what you read here as an unverified public tip worth checking, not a confirmed fact.
4. What you submit
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you post — notices, tips, blood requests and donor profiles, including photos, descriptions and phone numbers. Do not post a false report, a fake blood request, or a donor profile with a blood group or details that are not true.
5. Blood donation
- Blood donation through PhireAso is always voluntary and free. Never ask for, offer or pay money, gifts or "transport costs" for blood. Anyone who asks for money (a broker / dalal) must be reported with the Report button; their requests and profiles are hidden and may be removed.
- PhireAso only helps people find each other. We do not test, screen or verify donors, their blood group or their health, and we do not check hospitals or requests. Blood must be collected, tested and cross-matched by a hospital or a licensed blood bank.
- Donors: give only if you are healthy and eligible, follow the hospital's and doctor's advice, and keep the rest period between donations (usually 3 months for men and 4 months for women). Mark "I gave today" so you are not asked while you rest. You may pause or delete your profile at any time.
- Requesters: post only a real need, keep the details correct, and close the request ("Blood found") as soon as it is met.
- A donor's number is never shown publicly; it is given to a requester only when the donor accepts. Numbers you receive here may be used only to arrange that blood donation — never for calls, messages, marketing or anything else. Collecting numbers is not allowed and leads to removal.
- Admins may hide, reject or remove any blood request or donor profile that breaks these rules or seems unsafe.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use PhireAso to post anything false, fraudulent or malicious; to harass, threaten, impersonate or expose anyone; to include more of a child's identifying information than needed to find them; to buy or sell blood; to post content unrelated to a real case or blood need; or to disrupt the service or access its data without permission.
7. Moderation and removal
Posts may be reviewed before they are published, and can be rejected, reported by other users, or removed at any time — by you, if it is yours, or by an admin, if it breaks these Terms or seems unsafe. Devices that misuse the service can be blocked.
8. No guarantee of outcome
PhireAso helps a notice or a blood request reach more people faster. It cannot guarantee that a missing person or item will be found, that blood will be found in time, that a tip or a donor is genuine, or that anyone will respond. Use your own judgement, and involve the police, the hospital or a doctor for anything serious.
9. Availability
The service depends on a working internet connection and on Google's push-notification service, neither of which we can guarantee. We do not promise uptime or that every notification arrives instantly.
10. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, PhireAso is not liable for the accuracy of anything posted by users, for a person, item or blood not being found, for anything that happens between people who meet through the service (including any blood donation or transfusion), or for loss arising from your use of or reliance on it.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The date on this page shows the latest version. Continuing to use PhireAso after a change means you accept it.
