PhireAso
"PhireAso" is a community-powered emergency information network — bringing news of missing children, elderly people, persons, and important documents/items to people quickly. No login, completely free.
How it works
Post a notice
Add a photo, where and when, and a number to call. No login, free.
An admin checks it
Every notice is reviewed so fake or harmful posts never go public.
Everyone is alerted
It goes live here and in the app, and missing-person notices alert every phone.
Questions
Is it free? Do I need an account?
Completely free, and there is no login. You can post, read and share from this website or from the Android app.
Why is my notice not showing yet?
Every notice is checked by an admin before it goes public, to keep out fake or harmful posts. You can see its status under “My posts”.
Who can see my phone number?
The number you give on a notice is shown on it, so people who have seen the person can call you. The number you give with a tip is only visible to admins.
The person was found — how do I close the notice?
Open “My posts” in the app, or on the browser you posted from, and tap “Found”. Resolved notices stay online with a “found” note so shared links keep working. Posted from another device? Contact us with the notice code.
How do the emergency alerts work?
When a missing-person notice is approved, an alert is sent to every phone that has the PhireAso app. Install the app to receive them.
Can I edit or delete my notice?
Yes. While it is waiting for approval you can edit or delete it from “My posts”. Once it is live you can mark it as found; to change a live notice, contact us with its code.
Someone posted a fake or wrong notice — what do I do?
Open the notice and tap “Report a problem”, then choose the reason. An admin checks it; the person who posted is not told who reported.
